Andre and Benjamin are back! I had the chance to photograph these two brothers last year alongside their parents and this time the spotlight was all for them to keep.
They are full of endless energy. Nothing could stop them this day, even after running laps around the trains the whole afternoon. I think I exhausted myself way before they showed any sign of fatigue. It’s that same enthusiasm they displayed that made my job easier and made for photographs that reflect not only their personality, but the bond they both share. They are inseparable. If Andre or Benji lose sight of one another, they are right behind each other tugging themselves once again in the same direction. They are their very own chaperones! You have to love that.
It might have taken me a few days to recover from all the running, but the end result was worth the extra energy and Andre and Benjamin’s infectious laugh throughout the day made for many memories. I’ve been playing with many rolls of film lately and decided to document this session in a hybrid matter, half film and half digital.
