This photo session has been a couple years in the making and one that I have anxiously been looking forward to. I look forward to all of my photo sessions with each client, but when you photograph your family a different sentiment is felt. I am an uncle to the three amazing souls you see below and also a god parent to the youngest child- Raquel. In order of age your have Bernardo (Bernie), Azucena(Suzie) and Raquel (Beli). Each with their own nickname as my family members do not refer to each other by their birth name, but by a nickname. It’s a family tradition 🙂
They each bring their own personality to the table that brings joy to the family in a personal matter. You have Bernie who is the the typical strong, athletic brother who plays his football and wrestling trade at So Cal powerhouse Bishop Amat. Azucena is your social butterfly and super dramatic sister who always has something clever to say. Don’t be surprised if one day you see her on TV. Last, but not least you have my god daughter Raquel who is full of warmth, cheerfulness and very astute. She is always the first one to run and give the family a huge hug that no one can deny and also swift with her responses when answering to a question. There might be an age difference and size difference between the three, but I believe those differences has allowed the girls to see their big brother as their personal gentle giant. Someone they can run to and be playful and have that same love and playfulness reciprocated by Bernie with a simple lifting of one of the girls up on his shoulders or spinning them in circles until they all suffer from unsteadiness from too much spinning. It is said that being brother and sister means being there for each other and there’s no doubt the three will definitely be their for each other when it comes time to form together to get their way or cover up for each other in order to escape being disciplined. It’s just the nature of the bond between siblings.
Without further a do, I introduce my family!
