The glee and emotions expressed by soon to-be parents are a sight to see. A different kind of tenderness and patience overcomes their senses knowing a new baby will enter this world in which their whole world will encompass a new feeling of attention and care. I had a blast spending an early Saturday morning walking around the Irvine Regional Park grounds with Alicia & Jose Luis and capturing the wonderful joy they shared in anticipation for the arrival or Baby Jose Luis Jr. in just under two weeks. Alicia might have been a couple weeks away from giving birth, but with the amount of energy and enthusiasm she had this morning, one would have never guessed. Alicia had a radiant glow that could not be hidden and really pops in her photographs. Jose Luis was the ever present gentleman making sure to walk alongside Alicia and making sure she was never short of breath or in need of a snack or water. A few weeks have passed since I photographed their session and just over a week ago Alicia and Jose Luis welcome a healthy Jose Luis Jr. into the world.
